Niche Vehicle Solutions Ltd provide modern Frontline HDU Ambulances, Emergency Vehicles, Non-Emergency Patient Transport and Blue Light Driver Training Vehicles. As their livery supplier, we regularly provide all safety markings for these vehicles, predominantly ambulance liveries for Renault Masters and Peugeot Boxers. Here, we look at a recent job that was our first car Rapid Response Vehicle kit for Niche. This involved a full vehicle conversion, which saw us working in partnership with Mawsley Emergency Vehicle Specialists.
It started at The Emergency Services Show, where Peter Walsh, Director at Niche, visited our stand for a catch up and to discuss this new project. This wasn’t for a Renault Master or Peugeot Boxer that we had supplied so many times before, but for a Volvo V90.
Peter needed a full conversion including RRV lighting and siren to be installed. Mawsley Emergency Vehicle Specialists were lined up for the conversion so we began liaising with the team there in order to co-ordinate the delivery of the vehicle livery to fit with their conversion timescale.
We already had the battenburg and rear chevron kit data ready to cut for the Volvo V90, so as soon as details had been confirmed with Mawsley, our production team got to work. The kit was manufactured from Nikkalite Crystal Grade reflective material.
From initial enquiry on 22nd September, the vehicle was available at Mawsley Emergency Vehicle Specialists on 4th October and the whole conversion including livery fitting was complete by 13th October.
