Your Chapter 8 kit coverage options

Full Rear

Full rear coverage refers to a Chapter 8 kit that covers the whole available area of the rear of your vehicle, including the windows if it is a van. This provides maximum visibility and can be especially useful for high roof vehicles.

Find full rear kits for your fleet here

Half Rear

Half Rear coverage only covers the vehicle below the rear window. This is standard coverage for cars, but may also be required on vans too. This allows the rear windows to be free from livery, whilst still providing excellent reflective visibility to other road users.

Full Glazed

Full glazed Chapter 8 kits allow for the rear window being free from livery, but add an extra bit of reflectivity around the edges and along the top of the rear of the vehicle. This can be useful for large vans.

Chapter 8 FAQs

How do I apply a Chapter 8 kit to my vehicle?

Our Chapter 8 kits are really easy to apply. The reflective and fluorescent vinyl is self-adhesive and can be applied using a squeegee. Preparation is key to a successful chevron kit application, so please make sure you follow the guidance on the application guide that will be delivered with your kit. There are also instructions in the leaflet regarding cleaning and suitable environment for fitting too.

If you would prefer that we do the fitting for you, please contact us on 0344 2098775 for more information about our professional fitting service.

When will I receive my Chapter 8 kit?

Standard delivery is up to 5 working days, but faster deliveries are available. Please visit out Deliveries and Returns page for further details.

What material should I choose for an R3B compliant Chapter 8 chevron kit?

If your rear chevron kit needs to be R3B compliant (i.e. suitable for Highways use) please choose 3M Diamond Grade Microprismatic Red (4092), Nikkalite Crystal Grade Microprismatic CVF Red (92805) R3B or Orafol 6900 Brilliant Grade Microprismatic Red (030).

I need rear chevron kits for corporate vehicles, but they don’t need to be R3B compliant. What material should I choose?

Either Nikkalite FEG or Oralite 5200 Rapid Air rear chevron kits are suitable for this usage, as they provide extra visibility, but do not comply with R3B guidance.

I need a Chapter 8 kit that I can take off of my vehicle easily. Do you have anything that would be suitable?

Yes – our magnetic Chapter 8 kits are perfect for this. The Chapter 8 kit is produced and applied to magnetic rubber for a really easily removable Chapter 8 kit. Before you order a magnetic rear chevron kit please check that this would be suitable for your vehicle (some vehicle rears are made up of many plastic parts, so are unsuitable for magnetic options).

We can also manufacture a fully removeable version of any of our Chapter 8 kits by placing the fluorescent and reflective markings onto a removable vinyl. This would last up to 12 months and is perfect for lease/short term hire vehicles. For further details, please call our team on 0344 2098775.

Do you supply door lozenges?

Yes – Highways compliant door lozenges are supplied as standard and at no extra cost with every Chapter 8 kit you order. Door lozenges are a very important part of your reflective vehicle markings – no kit is complete without them!

My vehicle has suffered accident damage – can I replacement parts for the kit?

To order replacement panels, call or email into the office with the order number for that particular kit. We will aim to deliver all replacement parts within 3-4 working days. We are developing the opportunity to order replacement parts on the Chapter 8 section of our website (for panelled kits only).
