Fleet ID support the fight against knife crime

Derbyshire Constabulary work hard in the fight against knife crime. Keeping all Derbyshire residents safe is at the forefront of everything the force does, so any way to get anti knife crime messaging out to the wider public is always welcome.

In recent years Derbyshire Constabulary have been heavily involved in initiatives such as Operation Sceptre (a national week of focus on the fight against knife crime) and operates Project Zao which is the title of their year-round action against knife crime.  As part of this work, the force has utilised their fleet vehicles for campaign messages. We have provided a number of very eye-catching vehicle wraps to support this important work, such as the example shown below.

The latest Derbyshire Constabulary livery with knife crime message

Derbyshire Constabulary were looking to use two of their cell vehicles for some brand new bespoke vehicle livery – a Vauxhall Vivaro and a Ford Transit Custom. As before, the vehicle markings needed to incorporate safety markings alongside full colour printed livery which would carry the knife crime message. With the design concept already created by Derbyshire Constabulary, we took this and applied it to design proofs for each vehicle.

The proofs were approved

When the design proofs had been checked and approved by Derbyshire Constabulary, production then began. All fluorescent and reflective markings were produced as well as the printed wrap for the sides, rear and bonnet. A mixture of printed and cut vinyl, printable vehicle wrap and window vision were used to create the complete set of vehicle markings.

What’s next for the cell vehicles

We were so pleased to be able to help Derbyshire Constabulary again with their efforts to reduce knife crime throughout the county. These two cell vehicles are now being used by Derbyshire Constabulary, with the message on the livery reaching a vast amount of people every day.
