The Emergency Services Show 2022

Wow! What a great show this year at the NEC! If you were at the Emergency Services Show 2022 last week, we hope you had a great time! For us, it was great to meet so many amazing people and find more ways that we can help them with their emergency fleet livery. If you were unable to attend – here’s an overview of what went on down on stand B100…

Bespoke emergency service fleet livery

On our stand, we had 3 examples of the emergency service liveries we supply – a police vehicle and two ambulances. These examples were based on the more bespoke liveries we design and produce. They incorporate the required safety markings – the retroreflective and fluorescent markings on the vehicle – but include totally bespoke imagery too.

Great Ormond Street Electric Ambulance Livery

The Peter Panbulance (shown above) is from the livery set we designed and supplied for electric ambulances for Great Ormond Street Hospital (click here to find out more). This would be Great Ormond Street Hospital’s first paediatric electric ambulance. They have seen this as a great way to engage their younger patients and to support their steps towards sustainability.

The Jungleance

The Jungleance is an animal themed ambulance livery, shown here on a Volvo XC40 Recharge. The concepts for our children’s ambulance liveries are driven by the idea that we can help to make journeys to hospital a little less daunting. A child’s first glimpse of an ambulance can be transformed from a moment of fear or trepidation to one of engagement. If that ambulance is bright and cheerful on the outside, maybe it won’t be so bad on the inside too. The Jungleance is a great example of how our themed children’s ambulance liveries offer a real talking point and a little distraction to help ease children into the trip to hospital.

Drop the knife. Save a life.

The Police vehicle livery was originally produced for Derbyshire Constabulary to support their efforts during Operation Sceptre. It includes all safety markings alongside images of the Knife Angel and was adapted for the show on the Volvo C40. Read the full Derbyshire Constabulary story here.

We can supply all aspects of Emergency Service livery, from battenburg markings to something much more unique…as shown on our stand here! If you’d like to get in touch about your fleet livery, call us today on 0344 209 8775 or click here to fill in a short contact form.

Fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity

Part of our activity at the show this year was to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. Having worked with Great Ormond Street Hospital on bespoke liveries for electric children’s ambulances (the Peterbanbulance above), we had the idea to raffle off 3 huge emergency service teddy bears in return for donations to the charity.

We had a great response to the prize draw – thank you to everyone who entered! The winners are being drawn on Monday 26th September at 1pm – we’re looking forward to seeing where Charlie, Juliet and Oscar will be living! Good luck everybody!

The show was a great opportunity for us to meet so many amazing people and see the fantastic work being carried out by our emergency service teams every day. We’re so proud to be a part of this world and look forward to continuing to supply emergency service liveries to all forces.

Whether your fleet vehicles need high quality reflective and fluorescent marking, fully bespoke printed livery, or a combination of both, please get in touch today! Call the Fleet ID team on 0344 2098775 or fill in our contact form here.
